Location: Pantelleria, Sicily, Italy
Splendid dammuso Kharuscia built according to tradition by Mastri Panteschi with more attention to comfort and differently divided spaces. Inside, in fact, instead of alcoves and dressing rooms we find two independent bedrooms with sea view, living room with corner fireplace that continues with the kitchen corner and the dining area in a single large room.
The dining table is carefully placed in front of the large arched window, deliberately positioned towards the Punta Spadillo lighthouse, and whose light illuminates the room.
In front of the dammuso entrance we find a first terrace covered by cannizzi and very spacious, a romantic ducchena in batter placed under a small pergola, to admire the sea that lights up intermittently hit by the light beam of the lighthouse in the distance; behind the dammuso we find a second terrace, ideal for dining sheltered from the mistral, covered by an ancient climbing vine.
On the other side, another convivial area with barbecue, sink and external shower.
Possibility to build a pool a few meters from the house.
Solarium below which a large cistern was collected for collecting rainwater.
Flowers, palms, bougainvillea frame this dwelling in a colorful embrace, which is a few hundred meters from the sea.
This dammuso also has a large plot of land of about 4700 square meters mostly in the olive grove. The entire property is surrounded by a border wall that gives it the right privacy.
